JARING is a member of the Global Investigative Journalism Network (GIJN), an international association of Data Journalists and investigative journalists who support training and information sharing. We are also incorporated in IndonesiaLeaks, a standalone platform for public informant to bring quality coverage and voice the public interest.

The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) is an independent, nonprofit media agency that specializes in investigative reporting. It was founded in 1989 by nine Filipino journalists who realized, from their years in the beat and at the news desk, the need for newspapers and broadcast agencies to go beyond day–to–day reportage. The PCIJ believes that the media play a crucial role in scrutinizing and strengthening democratic institutions, defending and asserting press freedom, freedom of information, and freedom of expression. The media could—and should—be a catalyst for social debate and consensus that would redound to the promotion of public welfare. Perludem is Independent non-profit organization that conducts research, advocacy, monitoring, education, and training in the field of ownership and democracy for policymakers, organizers, participants, and voters, whose source of funds comes from raising and other non-binding assistance.

Media Development Association (PPMN) is a nonprofit organization aimed to develop media professionalism and expand access to information in Indonesia and various countries in Asia, through an increase in the capacity of media workers, both on a national and local scale. PPMN works in almost all parts of Indonesia and in some countries in Asia through programmes involving media networks and international journalists.
